Discontinued thruster

VETUS Bow 125 Extended Runtime (discontinued): specs

The VETUS Bow 125 Extended Runtime is a tunnel thruster. The motor sits inside the boat and turns a propeller in a tube through the hull. VETUS has discontinued it. Its own product page said so when we read it on 11 October 2026.

This page stays up for the owners still running one. It holds the published figures, the part numbers and the manual. You will not find the unit in the thruster finder, the tool here that matches a unit to your boat, or on the compare page. If you need a new thruster, start with either of those.

Service parts

These are VETUS’s own part numbers for the parts an owner replaces, where we could find them: the pin that drives the propeller, the propeller, the anode, the brushes, the switch gear, the fuse and the motor. We read them on 11 October 2026. The last column says how we know each one fits this model. Give the dealer your thruster’s serial number from its label when you order.

What the manual and listings say

The extended run time version of the VETUS Bow 125: 125 kgf at 24 V in a 250 mm tunnel, built to run longer at a stretch than the standard model. VETUS's own webshop marks it discontinued and asks owners to contact VETUS for a substitute. VETUS does not print a boat length or a motor power for it on that page.

Replacement and close alternatives

VETUS names no substitute on its page. It asks owners to contact VETUS for a recommended one.
