Sleipner SXP35 Pro External Kit (discontinued): specs and parts
The Sleipner SXP35 Pro External Kit is an external thruster. It mounts on the outside of the hull. Sleipner has discontinued it. Its own product page said so when we read it on 1 October 2026.
This page stays up for the owners still running one. It holds the published figures, the part numbers and the last price we read. What the manual and listings say
It bolts to the outside of the hull through three small holes below the waterline. It fits a hull up to 50 mm thick without glass work. Sleipner's external page puts its external units on displacement and semi-planing boats up to 60 ft. The boat comes out of the water to fit it. This is the proportional (PRO) version of the SX35, for boats up to 37 ft.
It is rated 43 kg at 12 or 24 V and 35 at 10.5 or 21. Defender's price is a range across a 50 or 150 mm shaft length. This row is the 50 mm (2 in) hull-thickness version; Defender prices it separately, read 12 October.
